Whats up guys, a friend of mine that owns a 97 Probe GT wants to know if you guys have any relatively basic settings for the S-AFC.

He has heads and intake port and polished, msd ignition, cold air intake, greddy with custom piping and no cat, aem fuel pressure regulator, bigger injectors, etc.

I've already searched the archives, I dont see anything, so are there any settings you guys could recommend to him? His S-AFC is way off. Fuel curve is ... curveless.

For the amount of mods he has, seems like bigger injectors is a little overkill (depending on how much bigger).

The best way to set your SAFC points is to dyno tune it, and I'm sure he can afford to fork out $75 for one hour on the rollers with a wideband O2. My SAFC is set at +5% across the band, but for now I'm at nearly stock so it makes minimal difference.

Depending on the injector size, (and if he compensatees with a lower base fuel pressure or not) he should prolly lean out the low points for driveability and fuel economy, and see how it does on the dyno for the high throttle settings.

He has plans to hit the dyno for a few hours, but was hoping there was something he could mash in there until he goes that might help. I believe his injectors are 330, i might be wrong.

Man, the injectors are defiently overkill because you can use the stock injectors with a turbo. As for the AFC every car is gonna be different the only true way is to go to a dyno shop that has people actually tune the AFC and not just play around with it.

Injectors are definitely not necessary for mild applications such as those listed. The SAFC needs to be used in combination with an A/F ratio gauge (not the LED ones either) and EGT gauge. It would also be best done on the dyno.
