I went to MOPAC in canada and picked up a PS headers...
i know i know, it's another PS post but....... i always thought PS were slip on headers.. but mine has flanges on'em just like generation V hotshot does. Port looks good, and clean but can be lil better...
One question tho.. Mine also came with extention pipe looking piece dat's about 5 inches long.. ( i have no clue what that does...)..
does any one know what that extention piece does??

There prolly made for 96-97 years. There cat got moved closer to the engine for better emissions on startup or some shit. So on 96-97 u dont need the extension but 93-95 does

Only earlier versions of PS headers were slip fit.
The "extension" connects the y pipe to the cat. It is the "balljoint". Its not an extension.

Just cut the ball joint off ,and weld a flex pipe in its place correcting tottal lenght so they fit perfect .
