right now im running custom catback exhaust with a v-force (comparable to flowmaster) muffler and a stock cat. I had a test pipe in place of it but it was way to tinny. So i swapped my cat back in and it made it deep at low RPMS but kind of quiet at higher rpms. My exhasut guy said we could put a long glasspack in place of most of the straight pipe and put the test pipe back in. So my set up would be a test pipe, long glasspack, and v force muffler. So im wondering what this would sound like. Im looking for a pretty deep tone without the ricey sound.

I bet it will be real loud, somewhat raspy at high rpms, but overall, it'll sound ok.

My suggestion: Don't worry about how your exhaust will sound, worry about how it'll perform :)

why not just order a nice resonator from magnaflow or borla or something and have it welded in where it belongs? then put the testpipe back on.

or get a high flow cat to replace the more restrictive stock cat?

But like Jon stated who cares what it sounds like as long as you get maximum performance from it. Anyone that has heard my exhaust knows that I really don't give two shits what it sounds like.
