On start up I get a black puff of smoke, this is just gas that puddled in the cylinders, im thinking from injector bleed off, after sitting there for awhile...thats perfectly acceptable.

But when i go wot and shift it puffs black smoke pretty liberally. to the point where theres deposits on my tips.

I just subed out my stock fpr with another one. have yet to see if that will solve the problem. But I'm thinking that my injectors may have some faults???

So really i just dont want to puff smoke anymore, anybody else have any input or expierence with this problem.

Some small tid bits about my car/related: Stock y pipe, new oxygen sensors, flowmaster single in dual out, catco cat, fuel system with about 150K on the ticker.

Sounds like an injector sticking open to me.

Try some Techron injector cleaner. If that doesn't work, you may need to have the injectors professionally serviced.

I have NO cat, so My GReddy is Black after 5 miles of driving.
I have no rich condition because i got 31 Mpg a week ago on the Hwy.
Your cat could be plugged, or maybe not igniting.
On cold start up you are always gonna have some smoke because the cat is not hot enough to burn the smoke in the pipes. But a Lot of smoke could deinately be injector related!
