wait till the car tries to break traction at the top of 3rd... then you can complain ;)

Peak horsepower occur in the higher rpm ranges and can break the tires free. My only suggestion is to increase traction (better tires, lower tire pressure, ensure a good contact patch [proper alignment])

If you dont have very good condition and very sticky tires boosted fwd cas break loose all the time. On my winter junker tires my car spun thru the first 3 gears. But with my kumhos 712's & 17" rims the car wont break lose after 2nd. Get taller tires and stickier compound and you wont do it anymore!

oh, well then.,.does it always happen? I know that sometimes in my car i would break traction at 5500 for no appearent reason. and other times it was fine. Im thinking maybe it was just the street

What tire pressure are you running?

30 i think? whatever it says to run on the side walls, at the track i run like 12

usually the side walls just tell you what the max pressure is cold. Thats not always what you want to run at. but if it says 30 max, then i would put in 30, i couldnt see running less than that on the street

12 psi on the strip or street is waaaaay too low
when you get that low, the center of the tread bows in. Usually, the pressure on the side of the tread is something in the 40's not 30 psi. Get a gauge and recheck that tire pressure. Pressures too high or too low will lower traction

on the street i run normal pressure 30-35psi whatever that sidewall says
