What's the widest tire size that can fit on a PGT without beating out the fenderwell? Is it 245? I was wondering because I was going to get 17x8 rims on my PGT with 245/45ZR17's all around? Would that fit? Thanks for the help...:grin:

Yup they will, 255's fit just fine too, with the right backspacing.

I'd wait till I found someone with a similar setup that you want and see how well they worked before spending too much money. Obviously if you want to go to special coil-overs and/or fender rolling you can probably put nearly anything on your car that you want.

In general though, it is best to keep your offset of your wheels within 5mm of stock (which X 2 means a real width difference of 3/8" from the offset) to prevent any adverse handling changes.

Course that might depend more on whether you are looking primarily for handling or appearance.
