View Full Version : PacesetterHeader Flex Pipe ?

Is there anyway to add a flex pipe, even the stock one, to the pacesetter headers to keep the vibration and everything minimal?

yup , just mesure it up then call jc whitney order the right size and weld it in or take it a muffler shop they could take of it .

Yeah, the stock flex pipe is plenty big enough to flow with the Pacesetters, so I would just hack that off, then have an exhaust shop put a flange on the cat-side, and weld the y-pipe side in place of where the ball joint USE to be.
I'll have it done on my set SOME day.:smile:
Even though I have never had any problems with the ball joint, I just don't like the idea of it. Actually, it's the only thing I don't like about the pacesetters.
FYI: For those who don't know, Brospeeds use a ball joint also.

i got ya all beat !
i got a 2.5 inch stainless flex pipe from work , and welded it on where the ball joint USED to be . only got 16.98 $ in to it !
the exhaust moves like it should now , and havent blown a gasket yet !
