  • PMO Harness Bar!!!

I've had a lot of emails requesting a bolt in harness bar. I wanted to post here to see if we can get enough people interested. They will be just like the one pictured which is a Sparco. They sell for $400 which is kind of high IMO. We will sell them on our website for $350 and $275 in a BB price. We will need to get 10 interested buyers to begin fabrication.

That was one of the reasons why I haven't made one yet on the count of our roll cage. The good thing about this bar, is that shipping is going to be quit a bit less than the cage.

        true true....
so it's going to mount up to the b pillar, drop down to the correct angle, and then mount on the floor as well just like the pictures shows the sparco...and also will it have the little brackets that'll hold the harness from sliding around...

also just wondering, how much would it cost extra to get you to put extra bars, to run to where the rear seatbelts mount, just for a little more strength...just a idea i can see ran in the car...

Yes it will mount to the b-pillar. The link bars will mount on the bar and to the lower seatbelt mount on the rocker pannels. I can add another link bar in the center to go back to the rear seatbelt mounts.

sweet...yea that'd be great, i hope i can get one, if you could add extra bars, like that, and depending if it goes back far enough something like your rollcage has, the rear strut bar in the middle, but who knows i know it'd all cost more, but just a thought

You know I'm so down on this, Todd.

The benefit is 3fold to me.

I would also potentially be interested in this as well if it'll fit a 626.

Can you guys measure from B-pillar to B-pillar? Make sure you measure at the mounting holes for the sholder straps.

                          Thanks

itd be the same as a probe/mx6 but the only difference is the b pillar is foreward more in the car, like right now with the seat all the way back(im 6'5") my head is even with the b pillar, i think the probe/mx6 even with seat all the way back that the b pillar is still behind the seat, but i may be wrong

Yeah, I'm only 5'7" and my headrest is still behind the b-pillar. The pic in the first post is a four door though (WRX maybe?), and it looks like a similar setup would work for the 626.
Todd I'll get you a measurement tomorrow. Would center to center of the belt mounting bolts be sufficient for comparison?
