  • Hiney I may have some other stuff for you to do that weekend. Actually might just leave it there and let you work on it when you get a chance. Thinking about dropping the fd's off to get powder coated as well.

    • Like getting the A/C working? What were the days again? I got another probe job that needs some custom work and axle seals... And my old one needs a tensioner.

Still want me to do the timing belt on yours too Andy?

        • I think I'm getting closer to my goal of 300 whp. Did some logs and ran them through the virtual dyno and I think I'm about 10-15 hp away.

Yes Tom, I'm very aware. Badgering me won't get it done any faster. Patience please.

            • Not badgering, just trying to see what your schedule is like. A response goes a long way as well instead of ignoring...

I understand you're busy. If it's a problem I can just take it to an exhaust shop. Let me know.

              • We talked Friday night. I worked on the house all weekend. Last night was the first time since Wednesday I was up to the shop.

I got it all ready to be test fitted again btw.

                • Ok maing, just let me know when you're free. I'm home after work every night this week, so anything after 5 works for me. Or if for some reason you were itching to get down there sooner, Heather is always home all day. She's just gone to take him to school from 12:20-12:40, and to pick him up from 2:50-3:10. Otherwise, you could always go earlier if that fits better in your schedule.

Got the battery for the 89 charged up last night, guy is supposed to come get it Friday. Of course one of those wind storms we had ripped the car cover up over the power antenna and broke it, so I bought another power antenna for the guy...And of course I go to start it up and 1 or 2 HLAs are clattering. Should have never changed them, since they weren't even the problem...lol. Oh well, hopefully they quiet down over time.

                  • Btw, while I was working on your exhaust I ran my new brake line on the LTD sooo, all that's left is the ebrake, cruise control and serpentine belt setup then I'll take it to get the exhaust done.

Last weekend of march into april. Didnt think much of the A/C. Was thinking mostly the clutch, timing belt, mounts, and crossmember. Possibly drop of the rx7 wheels as well. I still havent ordered everything going to look at that later tonight.

Also hiney do you have extra cam pullies. Mine doesn't have that lip on them?

                          • I actually *may* have an extra ZE exhaust cam in my shed. Not 100% sure, or sure of its condition...but if I have it any of you are welcome to it, assuming there's a need.

Nah, in all honesty I was behind one just the other day. I think they could've delivered MUCH better on the styling (as far as going retro), although the powerplant is excellent.
