The LTD is good other than some leaks... I'm itching to get driving that thing again.

Eh, it's "active" in the fact we are all still alive... Hardly any of us still own probes. I honestly think only one of us does and that's Tom haha and he never drives it.

This forum is certainly ready for a resurgence. Doubtful it'll be on the behalf of any of us. Unfortunately this forum has slowed down significantly.

Sorry, posted that last question in the wrong place. So basically, it's not. Which is a damn shame because I could seriously use some help on my car (Help I can only really pay for in beer and good conversation haha).
I just got an estimate for all the parts needed to do an MTX swap (750), but that's without a clutch. It seems everyone here is super knowledgeable and forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask. But given my student budget; I can afford either a KLZE (the labor being significantly less than that for a tranny swap), just the parts for the swap and no labor (hope for the best?) or give up on my dream of a 5 speed probe and call it a day until it goes. What would you guys do?

Long time no log in...
What's up guys!?
I bought an MX3 GS as a donor. I put a few goodies in the motor for my buddy before he put the motor in the car and then sold me the car.
Currently running an extremethings ecu and I think it should have more power. I'm a firm believer in buying the correct parts for an engine and don't like the idea of the chipped ecu at all.
I'm wondering if anyone has a KL31 or 36 ecu laying around that I could stuff in this thing quick for a few dyno pulls? I would like to run it with the chipped/kl02 then swap it for a stock mx3/je50 then toss in the 31/36 and see what differences it makes.
The engine is a ZE with colt tri-flows, pacesetters, curved neck and eBay cold air with msd external coil and Fidanza.
I'm pretty sure I read a long time ago that the mx3/je50 setup works really well on the ZE but I want to see what numbers each management system will do.

Cool car. My brother was looking into getting that one from Binghamton (assuming it was the same one) I also have heard the je50 is the way to go. On a side note my brother also has a klze mx3 with a ze and proper ecu. I think we are only about 1.5 hrs from you (corning area)93 mazda mx3
