  • MSPNP-Pro is out - any interest in one for your cars?

We've just released our first MS3-Pro based plug and play ECUs. The first ones, released today, are for the '01-'05 Miatas, with Toyota 2JZ-GTE, 4.6 Mustang, and LT5 Corvette units to follow in the next couple months. After that? We're looking for what to make them for next. As with the other MSPNPs, we can launch a new one for a car we have the connector for through the MSPNP On Demand program: MSPNP On Demand We'd need 10 pre orders, and base price if it uses a standard connector, case, and feature set is $1199 (some, like the 2JZ unit, are going to need a couple more expensive parts that drive the price up, but one for the Probe shouldn't need anything exotic).

Check out the MS3-Pro feature list here:

You can do that with an MS2 pretty easily, so the MS3Pro will definitely be able to handle it.

Matt, i have a question: Is this just the board(s) from the MS3Pro in the standard PNP case just for ease of installing the PNP module?

I kindof liked the weatherproof aspect of the MS3 Pro that you guys demonstrated by running it in the fish tank, and prefer the footprint of that unit as well.

Sorry for the OT subject, i don't really have an interest in a Pro PNP, but it's just something that hit me when i was looking at this.

The case is the same size as the existing MSPNP, and not waterproofed for standard applications. On cars that have the ECU under the hood, we will use a sealed case, but that will drive up the price a bit.

Matt I know the response to your offer is a little quiet in this thread..... but I am a starter if you are still up to compile your 10 PRE order list?

It hasn't really gotten started yet, but there isn't an expiration date for when one of these group buys can be started.

I just bought a unit for the MiataBusa (also to be used on my Masters thesis engine) and am impressed with the build and features. Hope to have a smaller 600cc Honda engine running by the end of the month.
