OBD2 Chip?

Hey, just wondering what the status is of an OBD2 chip? Is this something we can expect or is it out of the question?

i think klzeporsche was working on something at one point in time. i've yet to figure out why there is no support for the obd2 crowd? ONLY car i've ever heard of were there was support for obd1 but not obd2??
