They have events on Saturdays but I have no clue if it's open to the public or not I've never been just throwing the idea out there. Maybe I'll give them a call here in the next couple of days

If it's the "Rage" nights or whatever, they are open to the public.

So... all this talk of drag racing has me motivated to build something. I have this 1974 Mercedes 450SL just sitting here... it ran 8 years ago, but leaked and burned oil something fierce. It's a big heavy pig, but I've been having thoughts of slapping a GM 3900 into it, giving it twin turbos, and some E85. I've researched a lot of it, and it appears that the steering system is hard to work around. I doubt I'll do it... but I like the idea of it.
