  • crank sensor wires?

trying to figure out how to get my car to actually run. there is a 3 wire new cable ran straight from the crank sensor to the ms. signal wire, shield and voltage. the odd part is that the voltage wire for the sensor is hooked up to the same wire that supplies 12v to the ms. could that be the reason ms resets @ 1700 ish rpms and goes crazy? thanks jimmy

Yes I believe so. Aren't you supposed to be sending a 5volt reference voltage to the crank?

You dont send any voltage to the ckp sensor in the front of the motor. 1 gound and a signal wire.

Listen to mac1... I haven't messed with my MS2 since I set it up properly back in 2010 or 2011 I think. :-)

Hey Jimmy are you using the DIY sensor or stock VR sensor?
