  • Engine Block Color

I am doing some work to my klze before I put it in my car. I am cleaning up the block and was thinking of painting it. But I'm stuck between 2 colors.

So what do you guys think?

    1) Classic Ford Blue (light blue)
    2) Chevy Orange

dont paint it IMO, if you drive it then i think its a waste of effort. most people complain about how hard it is to keep the valve covers/IM clean when painted, the block will be 50x worse.

          Polished? Lmao noooo way

I don't plan on "maintaining" the color. But it would look nice for quite a while.

My trans still looks great after i did it. Also my vc and im held up well also.

That's the way I feel about it. Took an hour to paint and a day to dry. If it doesn't last 2 years o well.

              What color did you do?

So far I'm leaning towards light blue

I think clean natural look is best, but if your going to paint it, satin black.
