I'll keep my eye out for the kits then, and in the meantime look for the KLG4 intake and get some cams.

Is your car a daily driver? If so i recommend sticking to bolt ons, and or a KLzE.

let us list the things you will not use from and ebay kit because it's garbage...
          Turbo
          wastegate
          bov
          voltage reglator
          turbo timer
          guages
intercooler as it is way too big

even at that 9/10 hot pipes with need to be cut and welded to fit correctly
you'll also want a turbo blanket to protect the disty from going out every 100 miles, walbro HP pump, FPR, engine management or FMU, wideband guage and sensor, bigger injectors. It's easily 4-5 times more than the cost of that kit to turbo the right way without having down time every other week or blowing the engine. It's a very expensive learning curve if you don't have a very close friend that knows how to turbo or you have experience yourself. Good luck, and don't forget the search button. All these things have been covered to death at one time or another.
92 PGTt3/t4, hks pipes, large fmic, 460cc inj, chipped, tucked
89 MX6 GT planned KL swap + nitrous + turbo
          93' PGT Junked
93' PGT Sold... then riced out.

Ported/gutted/knife edged klg4 has netted a 13whp over stock DE manifold.

Apples to pears. Fair comparison would be DE to gutted DE or G4 to gutted G4. Who's to say just swapping the DE to a G4 doesn't net you the 13 whp or more? I'm too lazy to look up twopedalwarrior's dyno thread atm

The point is.... a G4 is a good thing. And if you don't care about power below 4krpms (I know i don't), gutting it will give a few horsies up top.

                Nobody races at 2krpms.

                    !
I have owned/made 4 different styles and successfully ran 3 of them. Only 1 had potential and that was the shafted clutched m62 setup. But since I was the guinie pig, mine had problems from start. being able to flip a switch and mash the pedal at that exact time unleashing instant torque and loud whine never got old.

I dunno, I have built & owned turbo as well as SC KL's ........ My preference is the A/C mounted unit. I went with a Paxton NOVI 1000 unit, Megasquirt for spark & fuel, milly injectors and that's about it. I've put around 60,000 miles on my setup. I've eaten 2 motors over that time, one to self ignorance (boosting w/o an IC ((I ripped it off on a curb, & the new one hadn't been sourced yet))) and the other was a popped head gasket after a week or so of just thrashing the car (RL issues; boost is therapeutic). Not bad over 60K miles. imo

But there's NO substitute for that SC whine.

but it requires a Sacrifice, ......the A/C.

Search my threads & PICS for some of the projects & process. My sig has a few of the links.

I currently own two Milly S aside from the boosted KL, so I can tell you definitively that the Milly S Miller Cycle supercharger WILL NOT bolt up to a KL.

Millys are nice cars, civilized........ not like my SC PGT.
