I could care less about seeing how low the car goes with them on. Most of those who drop 1600 on these will not be doing it to get the "slammed" look. I want to see some photos of the products. If I wanted slammed, I'd spend $100 on dropzones.

DZ don't get you slammed, GC's do
and if you look at car shows, tonns are car buy high end suspension simply for the pimp factor rather than Ebay random coils on stock struts

pics in my sig prove my point....

i have to disagree w/ ya....i'm running DZ's & Tokico Illuminas w/ the perches removed. i've got atleast 3/8" remaining on my collar and on 17's w/ 225/45 i'm pretty damn low. now grant it i do have the original erebuni "show" shogun sides but still take those off and thread the DZ's down the entire way i'm still slammed. oh and btw its a 4cyl so i don't have any extra weight up front.

nevertheless....for the money DZ's will get you slammed in a hurry period.

well, this thread is about tein's so i really don't want it to go any further off topic

coil's all the way down on stock GT rims (all be it a 2.0L)

DZ has been know to give out coilover that actually raised the car still on its lowest setting :S, and also to point out, you have 17 w/ 225/45's fill up the gap aswell

GC's almost all the way down and the stock rims are <> close to being tucked

I think that's what Wes said in the first place. What he meant was he doesn't care about the car getting slammed so much as to the actual product quality. If he just wanted his car slammed, he'd get cheap DZ's.

I'm just glad to see a quality company release something for our car. I'm happy with my suspension as is and won't be changing, but it still benefits the probe community and increases it's respect in the market even moreso.

                          these will NOT be $1600.

let's not speculate on the pricing please. WAIT for that information to be released.

also, this is being moved to the 'new vendor announcements' forum, as it is more appropriate for it to be there.

my thanks to the poster for helping jump the gun a little bit.

I'm wondering if the EDFC is having a hard time fitting under the hood and that's why the hood looks latched on the front but bubbles up in the back. just a thought

nope. the reason for the buckled hood was offered a couple of posts above. to repeat, the test mule was in a small front end collision prior to testing, the effect of which is the hood damage.

the EDFC fits just fine and was amongst the many things that were meticulously measured and fitted before the production of the prototype kit.

the major issue was getting the EDFC to fit with existing FSTB's (ie: RRE, FD, e-bay). perhaps TEIN can offer us a solution? we hope so.
