PROBE And Mazda Owners BBQ Saturday July 21!!!
Where: 2917 Crystal Palace Lane, Pasadena MD

When: Sat. July 21st at 12 pm.

Who: All Maryland Probe Owners (including mx-6 and mx-3 owners!), bring family and friends!

What you need: BYOB for liquour (NO UNDERAGE DRINKING) $5 a head for food (I'll be on the grill!)
If you have something you want to work on, bring tools and parts and we'll lend a hand. This is a great opportunity to fix the miscellaneous things you've been looking to fix!

Bring out your Probe Or MX-6 and have a great time! BYOB!

Any saturday works for me. I would like a "look at all the probes" meet because i never seen more than 2 probes side by side, lol.

lmao i see more than 2 probes next to each other on the daily hahaha considering my entire family has em lol but yea im gettin another probe today so just let me know when youre havin it and where...id actually like it to be a work on the probe meet...i think workin on cars whith a bunch of people is so cool especially if theres food and laughing goin on....

I'll be there but i'm sure a lot of people will say that they are going to be there and end upbeing no-shows just like many of the meets that happen around here. People talk about going to meets and starting monthly meets but the sad part about it is people just don't care anymore.

JD sorry to bring a bad vibe into your thread but I am kind of tired of people saying they are going to show and not show up, just like AFN this year and in past years. I will be there and I'll help you out with anything you need prior to the meet. Save my parking spot for me.

In reference to other meets, I don't want to turn this thread into a "if you don't come, you shouldn't be here" kinda deal (not saying it's heading that way, I'm just making a pre emptive strike against it. Those that can and want to come, I look forward to hanging out, getting sunburnt and drunk with you and possibly burning the hell out of my knuckles while helping to fix your car. I haven't been able to make it to any meets this year, so I have no room to speak regarding the absenteeism of NEPO members, life of an actor, and I'm sure you guys have less free time then I do.

Moving on...

What about food my probe peoples? I provide and you pay cover? or you bring your own, and I eat my mine?

i really wanna be able to attend this meet/hangout. sounds like alot of fun from what i have heard. and if the date ends up getting changed bout the food. i live an hour and a half away so i dont really wanna bring food from my house unless its a turkey sandwich haha

JD any day works for me as long as I have enough notice to let the wife know she is on full time baby duty for the day. 14th appears to be open for me. My suggest, and what we in Va have done before was a wait and see approach. Wait to buy the food/drink when people show. With NEPO you never know how many or how few will actually show. This makes it hard to either buy food in advance and expect the four people that show up to split the cost of food for 15-20 people or expect people to bring stuff. Luck will have it that one person will show up with the hamburger's and the person that is listed to bring the buns will bail. So set a cooking time for the event. With the people that are there are said time make a list of foods. Either collect money from said people or you pay up front and ask for a refund upon your return from the store. Both ways you should be covered for the food expense. Others that show up after the cooking time either are s.o.l. or can pitch in if there is enough extra. If you are the SOL person/people then you should have shown up on time. Eat before you come.

Last year we had 8 probes show, plus charles.

The year before, was 15 or 16 probes that came and went thru the day. I'd like to get the same or better for this year as last. But that's up to you guys and who spreads the word.

Either way, I'll be here with food, tools and good times waiting to be had. I'll also create a flyer for everyone, so if you see a probe leave it on a windshield and invite them to come. I did it last year and had a couple show who didn't know about PT.
