Yeah thats what i meant! It looks fast on 5psi but i heard from Mick (DrPepper) that the turbo ZE really shines on 7-8psi. Im not pushing you there as he killed his on 8psi IIRC.

Yea i am planning on taking it up to the 8psi mark. I ran my boys ls turbo crx from a 40 roll the other day and pulled on him. He said it shocked him. He usually is on like 15psi but i think he was on like 10 or 12 that day cause his hondata was acting up. Anyway we are gonna film a rematch me on 8 and him on 15 sooner or later.

Sounds like Grand Prix Ferraris of old, the 80's Testarossa comes to mind. Except yours has half as many cylinders and some sort of death machine for any small birds that happen to be in front of it.

Not sure i got into 4th gear a bit so lets just say over 100. I dont look at my speedo much, mostly just glance at the tac.

Unless you recirculate the WG back into the downpipe, yours will sound the same. I can't even hear my exhaust when that thing opens up, it totally overpowers any other sound!

oh i know... i ran like that for two years, the new engine is a 10:1 compression de bottom end with ze heads and it's a 2.7l. i've never heard it run so i'm very curious to how it'll sound in general

i was straight pipe turbo back as well, no cat, no muffler... unfortunately there's only one or two vids of my car out there though

open wastegate dumps are definitely an acquired taste, I personally like the sound, because it's so damn different, and people freak out when they hear it, but I think I might recirc. my wastegate on the probey, when it's done.
