^^^13's are decent for a 4 banger or so..its not like your mustang could hit that stock.. and i dont see whats so funny on the prespective we have on this forum, i been around fast circles and i mostly daily a 500whp car....

i still think racing any kind of form or fast/slow its still interesting and fun.. its only about fun to me, as soon as you keep thinking its for someother reason or start thinking your the ish, you lost prespective of what this hobby its to you IMO

1. My car went 13s stock, with 114,000 miles on it, with my wife driving. And I have the timeslip to prove it. And other than the 94-95 Cobras, which are really nothing more than +10HP GT's, these are the slowest year Cobras ever produced. But this thread and my comment had absolutely nothing to do with my car, which is set up for street driving and open track opportunities, not drag racing.
2. 13s are decent for that car, and a vast improvement over what it was stock, the implication by the poster was that it was blazingly fast. When in reality, Honda Oddeseys these days come with 265HP - while 13s are decent for that car, 13s overall are not impressive.
3. When I say fast crowd, I'm talking 8.50 bracket index class, not 500whp. Like guys who don't race on the street.
4. What is "ish"? Is this the new high school word of the month? Did "P Diddy" or some other multi-millionaire 'hard-life' 'thug' create a new term on MTV this week?

Ish the alternative to sayin sh*t and its been around for years.

13s, 10s, 11s, 20s who cares. And a h22 hatch is easily a 100mph+ trapping car on motor.

anyway lighten up it ain't that serious.

100+mph trap, isn't that a high 13 on street tires for a FWD car?

100mph trap is probably gonna be a 13.6-13.9 second pass with a decent launch on street tires for fwd. Yea you right.

Add drag radials and it gets better.

since hondas are being spoke off and someone says they have a 10 or 11sec hatch. Here is a friend of mine with a fully built z6 (1.6liter single cam) hatch on 17psi. 1.8 -2.0 60fts

he dyno'd around 290 wheel 255tq and its a full interior ef hatch

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/t...-at_637687.htm

How much power does a honda need to run low 11s?

At the end of the day a 12 or 11sec honda is still fast tho. Just realize how much power it takes.

I would love to see a 10sec honda and extra props if its a single cam.

You and me both.

I've raced a swapped civic and a turbo integra at the track and mopped the floor with both of them in a basically stock Mustang. There was a gutted H22 hatch with a turbo that could not run faster than 12s. I guess everyone is faster on the internet.

Yeah the civic looked fast compared to the probe and I give him his due even if it's not exactly my alley to be running a full on race loud four cylinder with no idle and no interior, I just thought some of the people were overreacting thinking a high 13 second car is "moving".

And your point?
You do know that the psi with different turbos will produce different numbers correct?
Example:
14B @ 16psi = 200whp
20g @ 14psi = 300whp

When you gonna race his H22

People that know what they are doing don't need that much power.

There are 12 second all-motor Honda hatches running locally to me. ~200whp. Power isn't everything in drag racing, but few seem to realize that simple truth.

Just ignore me. I was banned and couldn't conjure up the nerve to just apologize and come on back. I'd rather try to register under another name and pretend I am someone else. I will leave and go on to those "better forums" that I said I would leave this site for. I am not having any regrets. None. I mean it....none.

the guy in the video saying that civic is "sic" needs to watch me run my supercharged SVT, he would then tuck his tail between his legs and cry... man how I hate honda
