3.73's will be fine. I'll get decent gas mileage and I should only be hitting 3rd in the 1/4 mile.

Just talked to the guy, picking it up tomorrow! It's gonna be nice to have the insurance of knowing I'm not gonna bust my rear when I'm leaving the line... That alone is worth $75

Plus this rear is upgradable to 31 spline axles and a 5 lug if I eventually decide do ditch the Pony wheels and get some centerlines

If everything goes to plan I will have a garage this winter to work on her

I'm wicked excited cause I really want to have it boosted by spring and not have to wait. I have the rear end now so I won't be afraid to get on it a little out of the hole with some boost, plus it should do nice two wheel smokeys

When I get some extra money and can afford to get a nice set of 5 lug wheels... And get the minitub so I can fit some fatties under it

Yes sir... What's the sense in having a rear wheel drive if you don't stuff fatties under it?? I'm going to go wide in the front too, cause I want the car to handle. Proabably go with a 235 or so. It has 225's on the Pony wheels now but with the soft springs up front they rub if I turn and hit a bump like pulling into a driveway and such.

http://www.jegs.com/i/Centerline/184/135106545/10002/-1 These are probably what I'll run for wheels. I like this car with 5 stars. I might even look into some Torque thrusts but everyone runs them...

I wouldn't go past an 8" wide front, with either 10 or 12 out back!! I myself am putting 10" wides on my 74 charger, just going with a stickier rubber!!

I want to make a statement with this car lol It's gonna be virtually stock outside with a couple custom touches but I want the perfect stance and I want everyone to be able to see if my oil pan is leaking when I leave the line

lol!! I know the feeling!!

Last weeknd I was at the track with my friends 71 road runner. 440 big block bored .30" over with dual 800 cfm carbs and a bunch of head work. he pulls 11 second quarters, and well you can inspect not only the engine, but the floor pan too when he leaves the line!!!

Here is essentially the same car as mine, a 79 fairmont. It mostly just has different body panels but I believe it is an early fox platform. It could be a small block or a big block, it's hard to say as I didn't see under the hood. All I saw was the bottle in the back.

FAIL! The video is unavailable...please try again later.

Jeremy you're gonna need a considerable amount of power to pull the front tires off the ground significantly...I'll believe it when I sees it!

Garage is cleaned out (kinda). Enough to bring my car up and rip shit apart. I hope this wiring isn't too much of a nightmare.

Exactly!! However I am rewiring the entire dash and essentially the whole car . Gonna be lots of head scratching but then again I had lots of that on my KL swap too

Bought the stronger tensioner springs for the supercharger belts so when I up the boost they won't slip. The price was right and it was something I would eventually need and can use even running stock boost. I can't wait to take the dash all out, rip out the old motor and trans and start prepping to bolt the new one in!!!

The car is at my buddies, might start tearing into it this weekend

I got a cherry picker too now but it needs some TLC. I need to get working on the dash wiring a bit before I worry too much about getting the stock motor out, so that's first.

I discovered this morning that the headers I bought for $85 shipped are the $400 ones for the 3.8, and not Paceshitter

Jeremy

P.S. I did a line lock before pulling it into the garage too once I get his camera I'll post the one-wheel-wonder before video
