Me vs Turbo GTP

Me vs T-70 Intercooled GTP on 15psi from a 45 roll, alittle bit of spinning on my part but it went pretty well for my motor being really low compression (ZE with 160-165psi per cyl)

He IS Turboed, Its not stock. And since he said his car is a top end car I boosted 5th to see if he would gain any ground up top but i took it to almost 130 and he didnt so...yeah.

Boosting in 5th is not a good idea but guess what....I dont care. And he was that modded.

Wait TIME OUT! low 12s on motor and only high 11s with nitrous? whats it a 25 shot?? I dont think so. If its as moded as the guy says it is hes running at least a 100shot witch would put that car around low 11s

Completely stock down to the tr224 cam and ls6 intake lol.


mod list:
tr224 cam
ls6 intake
semi ported polished heads
headers, full exhaust
3500 stall
75shot of nitrous (but i never use the spray)

13.3@106 that's not a bad time for 5psi upping that to 8psi you'd be in the 12's at around 108-110mph i would think. The TA runs 12.3@110mph N/A

Its an Automatic and he requested a 45 roll to put him in the right gear and I kindly accepted. It is turbo and everything I saw it.

there is deff something wrong with that gtp. cause those car are monster when turboed. and most gtp at 15psi run anywhere from mid to low 12s if not faster. and most of these 12s gtp were on smaller turbos. not trying to say ur car aint fast. so dont take this the wrong way. u beat him and a win is a win. but with my experience with gtp and regals i can tell u they are no joke.

here is a vid of a regal at like 400 whp.just to give u and idea. i can post many others but its easyer if u just do a search ur selfs.

He said the tranny slips when shifting, But im only going by what he told me and what I saw. He said he ran mid to low 13's on 10psi and is on 15psi now, So I dunno I could only manage a 13.3 w/ a 2.1 60ft as my car sits right now.

I would def. believe the issue with the trans in the GTP those are horrendous transmissions in stock form. Nice run, your car seems to pull really hard! What is an act stage 1?!??! The only one worth buying is the HDSS...
