Tampa mini-meet Aug or Oct

What: Cars, food, n booze

Where: Country Place West Park

There is a shelter with tables and grills. There is a ball diamond and huge open field for whatever. I'd like to grill some dogs n burgers and chill there for a while. From there we can move to my place for some late night activities. My house is only 2 blocks away and I have 2 spare rooms and a few couches for anyone to crash on...you know, for the ppl that really want to have fun.

When: Oct 10,11. One or both days. Food or no food.

I'll try to plan it according to best turnout.

All I'm looking to do is just get a few locals (or anyone else in the state) together just to hang out and shoot the s**t. Its been a year since mazdapalooza and thats the last time anyone has gotten together around here.

I can do it on Saturday or Sunday, day or night, just whenever ppl will show up.

sorry man I was out of town last weekend thats why it had to wait till august. I'm pretty much free any weekend now though.

I'm gonna still keep tryin to put something together even if only a couple ppl show up. Eventually I'll just pick a date and hope for the best.

We could meet up with my friend Curtis who just dynoed his PGT at 350+hp on the dyno, just let me know what you got going on these coming weekends.

That sounds like a plan. I'd like to see that car. That's pretty much all I'm trying to do is get a few ppl together to just chill and check out cars for a while. Hence "mini-meet" thought food would be a bonus though.

I sure as heck ain't tryin to do anything as big as Flyrtle. There's no way I could put on a meet like that, I'm way to unorganized. I like to just go with the flow and let things fall together...or appart.

I'll have a date b4 the end of the weekend and post it at the top of the thread. If its not gonna work at all then I'll change it, I really don't care, but at least something will be set.

Life just keeps pouring down on me.
Sunday night one of our pets gets major sick so I was busy all night trying to care for her and get her ready to bring to the vet in the morning. Well, the next morning I wake up to find that she didn't make it through the night. To make the day even more awesome, I get a text message from work telling me not to come in this week cuz there's not enough work to do but they'll call if they need me.
So, between having my pet die and pretty much losing my job, I've been a little preoccupied and didn't even think about posting the date I said I would. I think I have too much going on right now to be able to make this happen in August. September is out of course because of Flyrtle. That leaves my other option, October. October will give ppl some more time to plan and gives me more time to get situatuated again.
Right now I am picking Oct 10,11. One or both days. Food or no food. However it is, I don't care, I am just looking to gather and bs for a while.

I have had a couple ppl ask if this is still going to happen. YES, as long as ppl show up. If only one person comes thats fine, I'm still having it. So far there are a 3 ppl that are for sure coming. They are the only ones so far to give me a definite answer.

I think October should work out alright. Gives some of us more time to get things done or fixed. Thought about making it a fix-it meet too but hopefully by then nobody will need to fix their car anymore.

Damn yeah better get that taken care of. Don't want your car to end up like my buddies mx6...on fire. His was from injector installation done wrong though.

Try the turbo blanket. After watching Andy's video, I'd have to say they deffinitly work. Can hardly believe it. truly amazing
