  • Cruise control buttons as radio controls

Has anybody on here done this yet? I have seen a few projects people have built for other cars but if this has been scienced out here it would same me some work.

I am planning on using a PAC SWI for the interface into a Nakamichi head unit.

Nice writeup, but I am looking to use the remote wheel functions of the head unit and not go IR.

I was going to do this over a decade ago but never got around to it... so I'm no help. It is a great idea.

It's just a button tapped into another button. All u need is a wiring diagram. I used to use a button to turn on/off my clutched SC. Now I use for boost controller. But there are only so many buttons!

Are the buttons wired individualy or are they like modern buttons where they all share one wire and each button has a different pulse? Either way it be neat to have as switch, to switch between cc and stereo functions.
