I've got an extra fog light switch that I'd like to use as an on/off switch for my aftermarket gauges. Sometimes I don't want to seeing led's in my peripherals. Can someone look at the picture below and tell me which pins I need to use to achieve this? I'm assuming just a hot and a ground will do it, but not certain. Thanks!

I can only give the wire colors, I don't know which pins on the switch they are, but you can pull your panel and look at the wires going into the back of your fog light switch in the car and you should be able to figure it out.
The red/black stripe wire going into the switch should be the one you want to use for the gauge lights
The orange wire is the white light to find the switch at night, green/yellow wire is ground for the white light. Those 2 run through the knob for the dimmer.
If you use the Blue/red wire's pin on the switch the orange light will NOT go on with the switch in the on position
If you use the black wire's pin instead the orange light will go on with the switch in the on pos. That's your call.
If your dash is like a Christmas tree with a lot of lights you should use the switch to turn on a relay. I don't know how many amps it's rated for, and the fog lights themselves use a relay for the high power side of the circuit.

Those two posts combined are perfect. I found the diagram before I posted but whoever had this car before me jacked everything up. There were aftermarket fogs on and every wire that went into the switch was black.
Thanks for all the help fellas.
