  • whats the diff. between sunroof and moonroof

what have you heard the differences are??

Ive always thought the sunroof is like the factory one on the 2nd gens where it is metal and a moonroof is glass that slides back.

A friend told me it was the opposite.

Another told me a sunroof goes above the roof, a moonroof goes between the headliner and the roof when it opens

    SO WHAT IS IT!!??!!!

      I've often wondered this too.

Our manuals however seem to describe it as a "moonroof", so...?

      I don't own a car anymore and it's weird.

Sunroof = Removable piece of glass usually
Moonroof = The much nice sliding metal like on 2nd Gen Probes and RX-7s
