  • You've missed it, you've looked for it, IT'S BACK! Snorbview: The SCS revisited.

"Years," I thought to myself, as I agreed to meet a buddy for lunch this afternoon, "I really do think it has been years since I last had a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich." Clearly, it was time to change that.

I felt a flutter of anticipation as I eased the Acura (for sale, btw, holla at me) into a parking spot at Wendy's this afternoon at approximately 1pm. Would a rush of memories come flooding back to me as I chewed the first bite? Would the blend of herbs and spices be as delicious as I'd remembered?

Several minutes later, I clutched my prize in my eager hands and followed my friend to a table. I carefully unwrapped the SCS and took a moment to appreciate it's visual splendor before lifting the bun to ensure no mayo was present. Devoid of foul goo, I lifted the sandwich to my waiting lips and took that magical reuniting bite. Tender, juicy, flavorful chicken surrounded by crisp lettuce and ripe tomato flowed into my mouth and left me wondering how I'd gone so long without.

Each bite was just as pleasing as the last. The sandwich was, in fact, so fresh that it was nearly too hot to continue consuming initially. The perfect balance of crunch and spice left me longing for more each time I swallowed.

In short? The SCS is truly a special sandwich, and has held a place of honor on the boards of PT for nearly a decade for a reason. Snorbview gives this one 5 out of 5 tups.

Go reunite yourself with a fresh SCS tonight!

SCS have always been awesome! But, not sure if you realized it though, they're on smaller buns. I just realized that the last time I went, I was wtf, they used to be bigger. My only guess is the recession hit the fast food industry too
