  • Doble friction clutch

    What up everyone I got a lil questions and wanted some advise, I I have a klze probe gt with stage 2 clutch masters but the clutch is already going out and I've only had other for 5 months, it's weird cus it's slips when ever I'm just cruising let's say 4th or 5th gear and if I step on the gas to speed up a lil it starts slipping, or if I wanna take off fast from a light it will start slipping but if for example I'm in 2 gear at 4k rpm and step on the gas it works good, it gets annoying sometimes, anyway I'm looking to get a new clutch but don't wanna get clucth masters anymore, some told me that south bend clutch is pretty good and someone else told me that a doble friction clutch is good, I been searching around but I haven't seen any stage 2 doble friction clutches or it doesn't matter if it's stage 2 since it's a doble friction???
    So what do yall think it's best???

    I have a CenterForce Dual Friction and its great. No complaints with about 16,000km of boost on it.
    Feels like stock and hold amazing.

      I'm also running a duel friction disc it's a south bend,very smooth holds boost no issues.

        Hey thanks for ur replays guy I got me a stage 2 southbend clutch, I just replaced the clutch but I'm having issues, the car wont start, just makes a click sound from starter I got my girls car to give me a jump and it started for about 5 seconds and it died, and when trying a push start car goes into gear but don't move for shit when clutch is pressed in like if it wasn't disengaging

          Sounds like multiple compounding problems. If you look over your work I'm sure you will find what you missed. But if you want my advice, I would look into the the multi ground connection on top of the trans mount, if your car has any rust then I suggest you remove that mount, scrape the. Ottom of it to remove the paint, then re-install. I have fixed a car like this before.

            I'll do that today after work, so a ground problem would cause this? The car acts weird, I tried starting it on gear and the car feels like it wants to take off tries to start but it won't and the battery drains really fast, I bled the clutch line cus a friend suggested it had air in the clutch line but it didn't help much and thanks a lot for the help i really appreciate it

              A ground problem can cause all kinds of weird things to happen at once.
