    Brandon,
This is the engine and tranny i was talking about. Maybe you can just swap this puppy over and slowly rebuild the other one.

@Rigs I emailed them and still waiting reply

@Squidd How much do you want for it? I can pick it up too unless shipping it would be cheaper ...since gas is a billion dollars a gallon.

well...here's the question....what are you trying to do and would an entire running engine work better?

Crank I think would get me $10 or less for scrap.

I am building a motor and already have the block and heads, aftermarket pistons and rods, and a bad crank so really all I need is the crank. If I have to buy a running engine then I will and I will just take out the crank and scrap the rest...which would be a shame to do to a running motor but I'll do it.

The motor is for Goldmember btw. I finished rebuilding the motor about 3 months ago and one month later it blew up again....turns out that the crank was already bent causing bearing failure. I even had the machine shop refinish the crank and they were supposed to make sure that it all checked out to spec. The uneven wear on the bearing makes it obvious that there was issues from the start. I've now switched machine shops so hopefully this time everything will work out.

well since it's goldmember...I have a crank sitting in a block with heads just hanging on until I pull the valve tops to put in a ZE motor sitting in my driveway to go into my car.

I need the block gone and really don't feel like breaking it apart to get the aluminum price for it. The block came from a 93 engine...probably had 150k on it. Overheated the engine and the thing still pulled like a scalded dog even though water was shooting out the back. I pulled a set of heads off another block and was going to throw them on and put the engine back in, but then my wife wrecked my 93 with a 130k engine and I was going to use that.....then I picked up a ZE from a junkyard and just haven't gotten time to install it. So there's a crank that should be in great shape (mostly valvoline syn (napa) ran for the past 20-30K)

I think I get about $15 for scrap when I scrap a single engine...so $15 come pick it up.

                    Sid is a life saver
I remember a couple of years back i snapped a cam when i was installing a new block and he made the impossible to send me a set of cams to Tampa. He gave it to someone who was coming by the airport area the same day and boy the whole thing worked like a charm!
                    Thumbs up to Sidney
