Anybody in SC want a set of FD rims with tires??

  • (gas tank update from forever ago) I ended up just sealing it with some gas tank plastic weld!! It's held up since and ended up lasting longer than my engine XD. I replaced it with a KLDE imported from Japan with 40k miles now it has a lifter tick I have to fix… (Off topic, this thread is the same age as me- I turn 17 on the 16th )

      At the risk of sounding like a boomer, it is wild that the rest of us have been on this forum since before you were born. Time is crazy. (I'm 40 and still don't understand how that can possibly be the case?? I joined probetalk when I was *15*)

      Good luck with the lifter tick though! I once swapped out the camshafts in a 240sx and had a bad lifter tick afterwards. A short while later the motor blew; turns out I'd failed to torque the new cams to spec and it jumped timing, bent the valves. An expensive lesson learned.

        We old now.
        Lots of cars... none of which are a Probe...

          Seriously!

          I think I have one of those valves in my garage somewhere actually haha.
          Lots of cars... none of which are a Probe...

                Thanks! I still don't understand that one. The upper grill has indents RIGHT THERE to mount a plate to.
