  • Hello North Texas Probe Owners

This forum seems to have dropped off. But I will post a hello anyway.

I just bought purplemetal1's '94 Probe and it's going endurance racing with the World Racing League, ChumpCar, and LeMons.

Needless to say, the interior is getting gutted and I will be selling off the 18" Rx-8 wheels, dual HID "sleepy" headlight setup, "racing" seats, carpet and floor mats, rear seats, etc. The interior is gray on black. Let me know if you are interested in anything.

btw, I am still under my original 15 posts. So I cant respond to PMs, post pics, or even checkout or post in the for sale forum. Any suggestion which forum I can "spam" with 12 more "test" posts so I can become an interactive member of this community?

I'm in the Lower Greenville area.

While a KLZE would be the obvious choice to take racing, I am committed to the FS-DE for now. I have 3 engines and two transmissions with LSD's. I am also out of space for another parts car.

The FS-DE in our 626 is bone stock, makes good mileage, gets around the track fast enough to keep us in the top ten, and hasn't had a significant failure in 8 races now. We are gonna try to step it up a little with the FS-DE out of Ben's car. I will be selling off his turbo setup though.

One of the moderators killed my spam posts. I figured that would happen. 15 posts to see/post pics, PM, etc seems excessive.

Is it worth the effort if no one else can see you for sale postings because they don't have 15 posts?

Getting closer to 15 posts. When I get there, I'll start a build thread for the race car and post a for sale thread for requests for parts. I'll post separate for sale threads for the major pieces I will be selling off.

Wow, I just discovered it actually takes 25 posts to view and post the for sale forum.

At least I made it to 15 posts. I started a build thread for the race car. I'll post some pics there. PM me if you see something you are interested in. I won't get offended. I'll be keeping the long block, transmission, and most of the suspension components. I may actually sell the coil-overs if someone is motivated to buy, same with the Wilwoods on the front.
