Oil pump runs at half engine speed and has cam hall sensor mounted on it.
Crank now has 12 tooth wheel (use to be 36-1 )
If the belt comes off the engine will lose sink and stop, I hope.

you can't get a 5k pulley for the dry sump? or they recommend against a non cogged belt?

you've basically got that situated in place of the AC so it should be possible to align that with the main crank pulley pretty easily.

I think the crank pulley is too large and therefore spin the pump too fast.

are you going to run an idiot light for the oil pressure?

if so, you could use that +12v output to drive a solenoid which would cut power to the distributor.

insert a normally closed solenoid into the voltage feed for the distro.

make a parallel connection on the idiot light sensor which runs to the solenoid.

oil pressure drops below x psi, idiot light turns on and solenoid quenches the ignition at the same time.
