    ACM: Allentown Cookout Meet 2005

It is FINALLY that time again!!
Due to the success of last year's meet, this is definitely happening again!

All information can be found here...
    www. allentown cookout meet .com...

For those of you whom don't feel like reading the site:

    Information:
    Who can come?
Any and Everyone is welcome to come. No matter if you have a Probe, Mx6, Hummer or even a Ferrari.
This is not a car specific meet.

    Where?
The meeting point is at A&A AutoStore. It's in a big shopping center with
an AMC movie theatre, Red Robin's, Wendy's, and other misc. businesses.

Here is the address for the meeting point:

    4608 Broadway
    Allentown, PA 18104-3214

here's the map of it - u gotta zoom out
    here

if you're familiar with routes 22 or 309 or I-78, you should find this fairly easily.

Promptly at Noon, we(you) will make a 3.2 mile drive, roughly 7 minutes, to a nearby park.
The park has 3 pavilions, 4 grills, a huge field, playground, tennis courts, racquetball courts and bathrooms nearby.

here is the map from A&A to the park:

    Raindate: June 25th, 2005

We meet from 11:00 AM to Noon. Promply at Noon, whomever is there will
head to the park. If it is after Noon, go directly to the park.

    Pictures from last year.

This year will be different in that all food and drinks will be provided.

In order to make this happen, I'm asking people to please donate at least $5.00 per person, not per group.

    $5.00 Donation via Paypal

    $10.00 Donation via Paypal

    $15.00 Donation via Paypal

    Any amount Donation via Paypal

This year I would like to designate 1 or 2 people to specifically take pictures and/or record video for the ACM website.

Also, to make things easier, I would like to designate 2 cooks and 2 helpers beforehand.

Lastly, I would like to get a group shot of everyone facing forward and not grabbing their crotches (Simon!), as well as the obligatory car lineup.

Once the meet is over whomever wants to send me their own personal pics
and videos, I will upload and host them on the ACM site.

    Thanks,
    Ben

I changed the park, so we don't have to deal with 300 chinese, and 100 old farts.
So be sure to get directions to the new park!!

If I could be there early, I'd volunteer to man a grill, but I probably won't make it on time (Remember how I got lost last time )

Well... Hats off to Ben once again . The original Post in this thread is nothing short of Great! Not to mention the time you took to make a really nice website to dedicate to last years meet as well as the many more to come!! . Come on Guy's.... Sign up and donate at LEAST $5 per person. It is really important that you do for the Food to be provided. Ben has done enough thus far and shouldn't have to worry about funds to pay for everyone's food that will be there.
