I'm so old I remember when they launched Sputnik. And the first muscle cars. Ranger & Telstar. And 3 Probes, the last of which is 22 years old & needs more work...again. We're both getting to the point where we needs hep...

if you didn't join in Feb 2000, then you aren't allowed to post here.

I joined on Feb 14, because I didn't want to make the transition from the Probesport board. I didn't want to believe there was a new website. Supergoat and I are valentine's day joiners.

I remember all the talks of the board going up and when I would bring mine down and just hoping we could get enough people over here.

Gregabuf, I and some of the older timers didn't want to give up IRC for some static chatting either. Sillyness on the interwebs, fad.

Is 32 an old timer? I guess compared to being 19 when I joined it is.

I remember Takiman and a few old timers talking about KLZEs and T3s, T3/T4Bs (Dan Brown, IIRC) while I was excited to finish swapping a ZE on mine! What a journey huh?

I'm old enough to remember the original picture on the banner at the top left of the page that had a red PGT doing a burnout and a bunch of people holding it back.

^^^ Reminds me of the time Dan [Sac] did that up at Tony/tnovello's shop in Oroville, CA during a summit. The ball of shredded rubber that resulted must still be in someone's possession.
