        Third nipple is for Right Hand drive where Brake booster is on the other side of the engine bay.

        EGR fitting on curve neck is under the intake and needs to be capped or plugged.

        Plug colors are black and brown....black is #1, Brown is #2..... BROWN IS #2 (Make your own assumption)

        Large silver hose could be for the PCV.

        Curve neck and straight neck have different fittings.

        You need a basic understanding of how/what the vac lines go to/go from. Understand that and then you can use any intake on teh car with no problems.......

        except for the Millenia S Intake..... OMG:

            just to mix things up anyone notice any difference between these two images?

            ::removed dead links::

            maybe its just me but the top one shows the EGR vac source is through the check valve vac source, whereas the bottom link shows its directly to the IM. Only one can be right, my understanding of the EGR system is poor at best so im sure someone can clear the air on if it needs vac at higher throttle positions therefor requiring the check valve and chamber.

            anywho i modified this one for those people with ZE's

                    bad idle after manifold change

                    I just took off my manifold to replace a leaky rear gasket, but it back together and i now have a really rough idle and eventually stalls, i reused the IM gasket, but thats the only thing i can think of that i did wrong, and i'm sure i didn't get the vacuum wrong, from the chamber to vris 2 then to a tee which splits to vris 1 and to the block, have to wait till friday when there is no rain to pull it all off again, so any thing you can think of for me to check would be great.

                                YOU ARE A LIFESAVER. The caps lock was initially unintentional, but I'll leave it.

                                Also, I have pics of the KLDE manifold off the engine (had to get at the rear valve cover), if it'll be useful to anyone. I painted it, and it's now conveniently color-coded: black is the VRIS.

                                Thanks again for the vacuum diagram. Neither the Haynes nor the Ford manuals have one I could find.
