  • Aftermarket Mechanical Water Temp gauge

So I bought a SuperPro Mechanical Water Temp gauge to install in my 95 Ford Probe Gt to run until I swap out my gauge cluster. The probe/sender on this gauge is roughly 1/2" and the threaded fitting maybe 14mm-16mm. The factory port on the intake is 10mm with a fine thread. Has anyone done this and had luck finding an NPT adapter to make such a gauge work?

I think it's not a metric or standard thread, I remember reading that somewhere. Anyone else know.

I used an electric automer gauge. The sender that came with mine threaded right in.

Found the Autometer 2282 for 1" 11/4" hose with 3/8" bung as as inline temp radiator hose gauge adapter.
