Bought a 1st GT probe..I'm back after 5 years,,,

  • Bought a 1st GT probe..I'm back after 5 years,,,

    After being MIA for about 5 years and owning 3 1st gen GT'S,,,and 1 MX6T,,
    I couldn't say away from turbo 1st gens.......
    It's a 89 with 160k I paid $350,,,,engine perr's can't even tell it's started..This is the quietest 1st gen I have ever owned...,,,,
    It needs a new power stearing pump..and a new clutch,,, I have just replaced the shifter bushing and shifter bar bushing,,,,,My goal is to make it a sleeper,,I want to make a at least 300hp on racegas and turbo upgrade with supporting mods,,,,So I guess we'll see how it goes....

                Ya I'm going to buy a new clutch this week,,,,and power steering pump,
                Also need boost gauge,wideband,and pop one of my eprom's in,,,
                The clutch would have not gone bad if only the owner would have installed new shifter bushings,, He told me he wasn't able to get it into 1st gear so he would use 2sec gear,,,, And him living in the HollyWood Hills didn't help ether.....

                      Great find. I would have paid $350 for that with a broken trans
                      95PSE - MTX, I/H/E, Illuminas/H&R's, RR STS, MOMO, FSTB/RSTB, rear disk swap, slotted/x-drilled rotors, Kumhos on new rims, SS brake/clutch lines, Exedy clutch kit, Mazdaspeed seats, 97 mirrors...
