    I had this happen after I jumped someone the wrong way. You need to replace both the battery and the alternator.

      j/k - yeah.. your voltage regulator is probably shot. Like Manifest said.. replace battery and alt.

        Hopefully you had a warranty on that battery. If u did just take it back and they'll know it's messed up when they do a check on it. The alternator u can pick up for about $20 with warantee from a junk yard.

          Or you can get a rebuild one for a manual trans for about 90 bucks. The auto one is an 80amp and costs around 160.

            Your voltage regulator in the alternator is fried.
            Pickup a rebuilt alternator, or pickup are rebuild kit. Rebuilt kit is more work, but that is usually what breaks in the alternator.
