Well, i honestly have never driven with or even seen brass bushings for this part, but heres my assumtions:
I would bet that mine are a made to a tighter tolerance..
and i dont like the idea of brass simply because its metal on metal. given brass is a very soft metal, but it would transfer the vibrations from the motor straight to you hand with no give. Im not saying that they are better/worse, as i have never tried them, but that is just how i feel.
i mean just read the wiki link on the first page, and that should clear up any thoughts about wether UHMWP is a good bushing material .Turbo'd 94 Mx6 12.87 @ 115 on 5 psi.
