There shoudln't be a ground. The sender grounds itself out to the block. If I remember right, there's only one wire, and that's the sender wire.

I did the first time to look it over and see what I could do. It doesn't have to be removed to sand off the connector. It's not hard to get off, so if you find it easier to take it off and do it, go that route.

                Low Oil Pressure...

                Hey Guys,

I've noticed my Oil Pressure Gauge is Really LOW!! I've checked my oil level and it's full... I'm a liltte worried now, is there anything i can do to fix this? The hayes Manual notes that the engine may need to be rebuilt.... OUCH!!!

This car only has 140,000km on it. 93 PGT.

                Someone please help me out!

All I did was simply take sandpaper and sanded it clean, installed it back on the car and plugged it back in.

did you read the first post?

                      This thread disappoints me.

I was hoping for something good as my ZE's ~15psi below what a stock 03 should be according to my aftermarket Autometer guage.

Oh well, I'll try this.. but IIRC, from day one of the guage install it's always been low. Barely any lifter tick and primarily on COLD mornings for a short time so no biggy.

Remember, the senders on these cars still go bad. This probably won't work for everyone, but it will work for some. It worked for me on both my cars, so I'm satisfied with it. I wouldn't have posted this if it didn't work for me.

you may have found 1 problem with the gauge sender but the gauge is innaccurate anyway! ive swapped clusters before and know they all vary a lot. i hate the stupid weak pins on the instrument cluster!

Maybe I'll give this a try. My guage reads anywhere between the "R" & "M" or "A" & "L" but it fluctuates A LOT!

Where is this connector located? Like, if I'm standing at the front of the car looking towards the engine, where would I see it?

My gauge is usually just above the low mark after my oil thins out (when it's warm/hot). Otherwise, it's just below the N normally. It does move under acceleration tho.

I was told that it was ok and never sits on normal? I take it that person was full of shit?
