  • Where can I get this windshield trim piece?

Anybody know where I can get a replacement cowl grille seal?

Factory Ford part is F32Z61021A46A "cowl grille seal" but it's discontinued. Want to know if anybody has found a reasonable replacement for this.

Just an idea worst comes to worst could you use a black silicone a bead it back into place? Not sure of a replacement, haven't crossed that bridge yet...

The rubber piece is not important really -and isn't missed if it isn't there. You could try using a used one -but good luck trying to get the glue to stick. I just finally gave up on them all together and just use black silicone on all of my Probes to seal that small gap. Works great, looks great and lasts long. Perhaps if I have time in the near future -I will snap a photo.

        Here you go:

You can't even really see the bead of silicone because it is underneath the lip. I wiped it away with a dry cloth immediately after positioning it and installing screws. And the little screw cover caps almost always have broken clips -so a little dab of silicone underneath those also does very well.

Clean it up as best you can glue it back it place, tape it off and plasti-dip it for a new look. Probably what I'll do when mine starts looking bad.

Thanks for the ideas, guys. I wasn't really holding out a lot of hope to find an exact replacement for it, but at least it's good to know others have run across the same issue and have different approaches.

When I took my wiper arms off to repaint them, I also took off the cowl and that seal was difficult to get back in, I'd also be interested in getting a new one, might try silicone in the future. I had taken the cowl off to make it black again using a heat gun, which worked decently well.

For the cowl piece itself, I cleaned it and painted it with black "trim paint" from the auto parts store. Came out great. Til I put a greasy hand on it working on the car.

Unfortunately, two of the screw covers broke when I took mine off, and some were already missing. I'd assume my best bet for replacements is the junkyard, but those will be even more brittle and faded from sitting in the sun. I looked online for new old stock and found nothing.

When I painted my cowl piece and got my new windshield put in, my seal was bad. I just didn't put anything back in its place. Car sits in the garage and doesn't seem much rain anymore. I might do the black silicone idea tho
