    Notice how flat the horsepower curve is The powerband doesn't peak and fall off sharply toward the end, it pulls pretty evenly all the way until redline! This dyno is my baseline so I can track my progress after the turbocharger is installed in a few weeks

      note: Runs slightly to the lean side durring first VRIS.
      Atleast its consistant.
      CAI, Headers + Custom Exaust, VRIS Led, Fog lamp mod, Soundsys, Cooling fan mod, Cluster face upgrades, Improved current carrying cabling, Delphi auto dim rearview, custom strut bars, 200k and counting, and still beat the snots out of it every drive.

                All in all a/f was pretty even and with a high mileage and nearly stock motor, I did a lot better than I thought. My compression check came back about 8%-9% under factory specs per Haynes manual. Comments appreciated to the inbox and enjoy:

                    1994 Xedos 9 (= Millenia w MTX)
                    approx 160000 miles
                    measured in Austria on a Dynojet, altitude 1500 ft.

                    Kl01 engine all stock, stock exhaust system

                    The two graphs show the power-gain for an otherwise unmodified engine by an auxiliary air duct into the air-box.

                    This pictures are screenshots of the free "Dynojet Runviewer"-software displaying the data sampled by the dyno. The correction factor is net-SAE.


                    Note:

                    The engine is equipped with a square-port KL47-manifold, which is installed to oval intake ports of the KL01-engine. This is the genuine Mazda-set up.

                    The shift-point of the VRIS-valves are also different, at least on European Millenias. Here the first shift-point of valve 1 occurs at 3750 rpm, as you can see on the graphs. The other shift-points at 4250 and 6250 are the same as on your Probes.
                    The dip around 5400 has nothing to do with VRIS-operation and needs further interpretation.

                      SRI
                      Chipped with ZE VRIS and fuel, stock ignition maps
                      Ebay headers
                      Stock catalytic converter
                      Nology Hot wires
                      Autolite 3924 double platinum spark plugs gapped at .038
                      KLZE
                      Fidanza 9 lbs flywheel
                      Timing set to 12 degrees

                      First run was taken to 6500
                      Second and the rest was taken to fuel cut
                      Final run was without the air filter
                      All done in 4th gear
