  • Shipping via Freight. Help, ASAP, NOW, Hey, Look here!

Anyone know of a good shipping company that can ship a KL03 Block (short block).
Weight is most likely over 150lbs, prolly closer to 200+lbs.

    I need info ASAP

Don't ask how it runs or how fast it is, because I'm prolly about $7-10k away from knowing.

      Ok.
Who has an account with any shipping companies?
I hate having to REGISTER for every damn thing on the Internet. All I want is a quote, city to city.

Try calling them on the phone.

They want to know if you have an account so they know what kind of discount you get.

Check with the person you're shiping to. They may have an account and therefor get a lower rate.

My company has a good relationship with Roadway, so we get a good deal there.

Be sure to pack it well. A fully enclosed crate is best, but a frame wrapped in plastic will often suffice. The operators at the depots don't always take the best care of the freight. I've seen the results of bad crating....

I think I remember Travis shipping a block through USPS. You may want to ask him.

If not, there are a ton of LTL carriers that are nationwide.

You can send it through FedEx ground if its under 150 pounds. If its over, I slap a big red Return to Sender sticker on it  Regardless, make sure you crate it up real nice, I know package handlers aren't the most careful bunch in the world, as I am one.
