Yeah but that is way more complicated to use. I'm talking pushbutton and precise adjustable timing. I think it can be done with the original controller in place for less complication. 93 pop up button as well, see if I can make it momentary only. I've got a couple $2 Arduinos coming from China and 2 single relays at $3 a piece on the way. I've got to do something with that stuff

I wrote a program for the headlights. Seeing what the Arduino forum has to say about it. I believe if I take the 12v that drives the headlights down and switch it to the headlight up side of the motor then the headlights will go up. If I'm looking at the schematic right. That means the normally closed side of the relay will make the headlights operate normally.

Arduino side is figured out... to MY satisfaction. That is to say, I lucked my way into something that works in a different way than intended, but it does work as is. That means I only have to figure out the car side now. The lights on the relays indicate how the headlight buckets will operate.

There still may be changes to the final code. Certainly timing of events will have to be dialed in. But, I could pass on the code to someone else and they could put this together use my code and it would work for them.

VRIS is still coming up I haven't had the ability to test for that yet, but I think it should be easier than this was (code wise.)

Okay... scratch the last post. I was back at it today. I solved ALL the problems with my code with some help from the Arduino Forum. The headlight wink sketch works on both the full size Arduino and a knock off Arduino Pro Micro/Leonardo that cost me $2 Headlights will work as they normally would, except when the button to the Arduino is pushed.

The $2 Leonardo seems a bit twitchy, going off on it's own, going to see if I can prevent this from happening. It may not even be a problem installed in a case. Also the connections are all temporary hookups not actually soldered in place.

Okay okay, really done with the wink circuit for a minute. New and improved 2 buttons headlight blink, choose right or left wink. Plan for the future to include the powerlock system... lefty loosey, righty tighty confirmation. Arduino code in the description of the vijeo.
