  • Factory power antenna pinout (wiring color)

I snagged a power antenna out of another probe, and I'm in the process of retrofitting it into my car. I didn't get the wiring harness, and as I have a '97, there is no factory wiring harness for the power antenna (never an option). All I see on the antenna motor is a six pin connector, and I have no idea which pin does what (I imagine that there's a 12v+ and a ground somewhere, but not sure which one is which).

    Does anybody know the pinout?

Ok, fine, how about this? Can someone please take a closeup snapshot of their power antenna right where the harness plugs into the motor? I can figure everything else out from the color of the wires.

      Black - Ground
      Black/Yellow - 12V+ Accessory (1)
      Blue/White - 12V+ Accessory (2)
      Black/Red - 12V+ Constant (3)
      Light Green/Yellow - Remote Turn-On

      (1) - 15A Meter Fuse (Hot in Start or Run).
      (2) - 15A Radio Fuse (Hot in Run or ACC).
      (3) - 15A Room fuse.

      The pins are:

      1 - Light Green/Yellow
      2 - Black/Red
      3 - Blue/White
      4 - Black/Yellow
      5 - blank
      6 - Black

You should be able to run the ground to the chassis, run the remote to the radio, and run the remaining 3 wires to the fusebox and tap the corresponding wires by color in the large orange connector plugged into the back of the fusebox.
