I found it humorous all these people driving down here to see the eclipse and it was nothing but constant cloud cover and rain. I never saw the sun once during the entire process

Those people paying 500+ a night for a room here must be pissed beyond belief.

If you have trouble finding Columba on a map, lately I have just been looking for the giant hurricane symbol on the map since they are probably going to get a direct hit at this point.

What's funny is the previous tracks had it going dead on to us so a lot of people in SC had booked rooms in like TN, or somewhere western. Half of Florida drove to Atlanta and now that's going to get hit (cat1 or trop storm but still).

It's just a mess trying to figure out where it's going to go and wondering if you should evacuate before the masses do. It's better that I waited this time.

In other news this weather here is fall-like and amazing. Thank you work for the day off for "Irma".

I was like when I saw the Irma had changed course to not even really touch SC anymore. To go into TN though? Bet nobody in that state has ever considered having to prepare for a possible hurricane, lol.
