My boosted probe gt has been neglected for a long time, last time I drove it was over two years ago. Spending alsomst all of its time outdoors under cheap car cover took its toll on the paint. I pulled turbo and wastegate to use as a mock up for my RX-8 project about 18 months ago, and I have been contemplating about a part out. Today I decided to get it running again and see what I can do with the paint.
Engine bay started to become a home to a Spider-Man.
Plan with the paint is to claybar first, then maybe some spot painting and wet sanding, and for the final stage cut and buff.
Prepare for the horrors of this paint.
Got the turbo system back together tonight and she fired right up.
Oh and you might ask why is my car in a middle of playground... because racecar.
