  • Will an internally stock KL handle this??

I have been running a 100 shot(.046 Jet) for some time now, i decided i wanted to go a lil bigger and go with a 125 and try that. I understand some people have done a 125 before on a stock KL-03, but my question is does this jetting combo sound right??

    Nitrous - .054
    Fuel - .030

I was under the impression a .052 was a 125 shot, or was i mistaken

Please post any advice that can help me with this. Also i am investing in a Jacobs Mastermind controller, so i will be pulling some timing out and i will be running 108 unleaded octane racing fuel. Anything else that i should know about??

    thanks
    -Devin

You have a NOS kit right? Check: http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/TechSer.../NOSTech4.html for your kit.

    I know Zex jettings for a 125 shot are 52/38. That's what I used.

It's ok Devin, I'm interested in the information too.. there's still a few of us Cro-Mags that still have dry NOS setups.

              [dragging knucles]

I've been looking at the dry2wet conversion kit. Dennis at ZEX stated that 54/30 is the correct sizing for a 125 WET shot.

              Here's there chart: http://www.zex.com/Technical/Current.../Images/17.jpg

Timing was retraded 3 degrees. I also ran 101 octane. That's what killed my CAT and o2's last year.

Timing was set while in diagnostic mode. Car was taken out of diagnostic mode when I ran and sprayed.

well the jacobs controller will retard timing under squeeze...so i won't have to mess with the distributor

And i will be running C-12 Race gas. So everything is looking good for me so far.

Steve is gonna jump the shot up finally??

                    Shot

Damn i didnt think the first gen would prompt you to use a 125 shot. it must be the new suspension that is making you wonder, will i ever get a rematch. You need to go get the tires. or you will be spinning, all the way.

my act hdzz barely could hold a 75-shot reliably. go spec, or cm stage 3.

i actually have had both of those clutches you mentioned they can't hold it...so i am going with the heavy duty ACT 6-puck.

Ryan its not the tires spinning ass Its a clutch slipping....if i say i was spinning in all gear including 5th then i will sound like i was Angel

oh yeah, the act hdzzis a stage 2-ish clutch. if you go w/ a puck clutch, a daily driver would really prefer a sprung hub.

when i ran a big shot, i could only manage to semi-grab it in 3rd gear. 1st and 2nd would just slip.
