If the Cv's are indeed the source of the dull "klunk" sound I hear when going over the occasional bump, should I buy rebuilt at the good ol'Advance or is their something or somewhere else that makes 'em better? Btw, when driving, would indicate a stabilzer end links failure? Don't say crashing! Things were so much easier to work on when I had a Jeep!

Hmmm, dont know if they would 'clunk' over a bump, but I know they can do some serious clicking when you're turning, I've had one going south on my 93 for some time now.

I had a similar clunk sound, who really knows if its the same thing, but replace your front endlinks first. Buy them from www.roebuckmazda.com

Okay, my mechanic said that ball joints seemed a little worn and the strut tower assembly bushing/bearing thingy (not sure) on the right side is gone south.
When I had my Jeep I had leaf springs, shackles and shocks and all my tools are SAE!
Out of 1-5 bananas, how does this rate for a grease monkey job? As far as the stabilizer end links, how is a Mazda website going to get the right part? I guess the MX-6 is the Probe's counterpart? So do I ask for Mx-6 parts? Or will they know? Just had my Bfg KDW installed, nices tires....
