                  What kind of WHP gain can we expect to see out of this mod? I may consider if pros (HP) out weigh the cons (no A/C)

                    it's not going to give you a significant increase in wheel horsepower. the sealed ball bearing unit that the a/c compressor spins on is a relatively low-friction type of pulley device, plus the pulley itself is large meaning it will turn slowly and drag less than the other accessories will. However, power is power and I guess you might see 1-2 whp out of removing it. The weight savings alone are worth it IMO.

                        anyone willing to sell their A/C compressor and relay after doing this? mine's busted, and if it wasn't around 40C/110F here, i'd probably just remove it.

                          It was 80F here today. There's no way I could survive w/o AC. I have a low melting point.
